5K Run

RACE DATE – Saturday, MARCH 3, 2012

My Fit Foods The Woodlands Marathon will host the first annual Fleet Feet Sports 5k Run. Individuals are invited to run or walk the 5K course that will traverse the streets of Town Center headed north on Grogan's Mill and returning to the finish line. Friends, Family and spectators will be able to cheer some of our first participants across the My Fit Foods The Woodlands Marathon and the St. Luke’s Half Marathon finish line. The event will finish in Town Center in front of cheering spectators.

START TIMES (estimated):

Marathon Wheelchair − 6:35am
Marathon/Half Marathon Elite − 6:45am
Marathon & Marathon Relay − 6:47am
5k − 7:00 am
Half Marathon − 7:00am
2k - 1:00pm

The 5k starting line will take place on Grogan’s Mill road on the northbound side. All 5k athletes must be at the starting line at 6:50am.

ENTRY FEE:

January 31, 2011 to October 31, 2011 - $25
November 1, 2011 to January 31, 2012 - $30
February 1, 2012 to February 18, 2012 - $40
AT EXPO - $45

Note: We will not take registrations between February 20^th – March 1^st.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
All participants must be 9 years of age by March 3, 2012. Athletes younger than 9 years of age will need a parent request to participate in the 5K Run. Upon review the Race Director may grant approval.

BAG DROP/GEAR CHECK

Athletes will have an opportunity to drop their pre race and post race belongings at the bag drop/gear check. Athletes will reclaim their belongings at the post race zone.
