Elite Field
Qualified athletes may apply for a complimentary entry into The Woodlands Marathon or Half Marathon.
The Woodlands Marathon Management invites Elite Athletes who achieved the qualifying standards below after January 1, 2025, to apply. Applicants must provide proof of the qualifying performance. Applications begin review in August, acceptances are announced every few weeks, and field limits may apply.
Accepted Elite Field athletes compete in the overall results only and are not eligible for Age Group or Masters awards. Elite awards are determined by gun time.
Qualifying
Standards
Applicants must provide proof of a verifiable result achieved after January 1, 2025, that meets or beats the applicable standard. Standards are organized by race, gender and competition category.

All listed times are the maximum qualifying time. Faster performances also qualify. Acceptance is not guaranteed and the elite field may be limited.

Equal published prize money is available to men and women. Placement and course-record awards are determined under the elite-field rules.
