Volunteer individually or bring a group. From course support to water stops and finish-area operations, every assignment helps create a safe, organized and memorable race experience.

Groups that serve together

Turn teamwork
into impact.

Eligible groups can earn a donation based on the number of filled volunteer positions. One filled volunteer position equals one point.

Group limits & qualifications

  • No group may register for more than four water stops.
  • Water Stop Captain positions may not exceed the number of water stops assigned to the group.
  • The cutoff to register group members is two weeks before the event shift.
  • A no-show subtracts two points from the group’s final donation total.

Required

Volunteer policies

  • Register online before volunteering.
  • Do not speak to the media on behalf of the event.
  • Drugs and alcohol are prohibited.
Race-day standard

Volunteer guidelines

  • Arrive on time and dress appropriately.
  • Wear the provided volunteer vest.
  • Follow best practices when handling food or liquids.
  • Follow event directions and social-media etiquette.
  • Bring a positive, helpful attitude—and have fun.
