Bringing the
marathon back.

On March 3, 2012, The Woodlands Marathon Management, LLC returned marathon racing to a community that had not hosted the event since 1993.

The reborn race weekend included a marathon, half marathon, marathon relay, 5K and 2K Fun Run/Walk. Today, the event features the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and 2K Fun Run/Walk.
